Year-Round Role
The connection between the Connors PTO and every classroom. PTOLs make sure families in their homeroom know what’s happening, when it’s happening, and how to get involved.
Think of it as being the go-to parent for your child’s class. You keep families in the loop and help coordinate the fun stuff.
Communication
Forward Connors PTO announcements to your class WhatsApp group. You don’t write the content. You just share it.
Connection
Set up and manage the WhatsApp group for your homeroom. Keep it friendly, useful, and on-topic.
Celebrations
Organize the class celebrations: Halloween, Thanksgiving, winter holiday, Valentine’s Day, and end-of-year. Collect contributions, plan treats, and coordinate with the teacher.
Support
When families in your class have a question about the PTO, you’re the first person they ask. You don’t need all the answers. Just know where to point people.
No experience needed. Here’s what happens once you sign up.
The busiest months are September, October, and December. The rest of the year is lighter.
Set up your class WhatsApp group. Send the welcome message. Share back-to-school PTO updates and Fall Festival info.
Coordinate the Halloween class celebration. Share Fall Festival reminders and volunteer sign-ups.
Coordinate Thanksgiving class celebration. Share any PTO event updates.
Coordinate winter holiday celebration. Collect contributions for teacher gifts if your class does that. Share holiday gift drive info.
Lighter months. Share PTO updates as they come. Bingo Night, Basketball Game, and other event reminders.
Share Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week info. Coordinate Valentine’s Day celebration if your class does one. Field Day sign-ups.
End-of-year celebration. Share Field Day details. Say goodbye and hand off to next year’s PTOL if needed.
Let us know and we’ll get you set up before the school year starts.
